Pulpit Rock
This past weekend Jacqui and I finally visited Pulpit Rock Conservation Area in New Boston, NH. The 200-acre conservation area has short trails that wind around a beautiful ravine with cascading water.
I didn't have my tripod with me, but I was able to make do with rocks and logs. I used the stock lens for both of these shots.

Joe English Reservation
I visited Joe English Reservation over the weekend, in Amherst. The conservation commissions' in the towns around here seem to be very active, with many pieces of conserved lands. It was a beautiful breezy clear spring day, low 60s.
There is a really peaceful old beaver pond nestled in the reserve. I spotted a few little creatures on the edges of the pond.
The had difficulty getting to close to the cautious frog. The spider below looked like it was holding a dead insect, it was tough to tell what it was.
